∼ Cabana Club Condominium Complex ∼
Cabana Club complex has 4 floors with only 30 condos, no high rise here. An elevator and 2 staircases makes it easy to head to the beach. All condos are individually owned; each condo has its own decor. Owners choose their rental manager so multiple rental management companies represent Cabana Club condos. We have great owners from all over the country, who enjoy each other’s company and like to keep Cabana Club unique. Cabana Club is more than an investment for most owners- it is a place that owners love to visit and share with guests, and we hope you find it as special as we do.
Cabana Club property is located at 3450 Old Scenic Highway 98 in Destin, Florida. Locals call it “Old 98,” a six-mile beach road that links Miramar Beach to Henderson Beach State Park. Home to great beach communities, extravagant vacation homes, spacious walking paths, and breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico, “Old 98” is as much of a destination as it is a lifestyle and the added name scenic is there for a reason. And our beloved Cabana Club is situated right in the heart of this beach-going hub known as Crystal Beach. Crystal Beach has height restrictions and is a residential area of homes and condos, with a motel and a few restaurants thrown in. No retail or commercial ventures- just a quiet place to enjoy a beach get-away. You’re in walking distance of the Crab Trap, 790 on the Gulf, and Camille’s, all great places to go for an afternoon beach walk for a drink or dining.
Cabana Club is tucked away on the south side of Scenic 98. The landscaping of flowers and various palms enhances the feeling of an island beach get-away.
On the west end of Cabana Club’s parking lot is our laid-back relaxation spot for our “Beach Grillers”; this special place has a tropical feel with the Gulf wind coming from the beach. There you’ll find 3 outdoor BBQ islands with custom granite countertops; each station has a 22-inch Master-Touch Charcoal Grill with a rapid-fire chimney charcoal starter, grill brushes and trashcan. A beautiful gazebo that surrounds the 3 islands holds overhead timer lights over each grill. A custom-designed comfortable 8-foot bench seat and a wooden border seating/propping area are there for hanging out in comfort while cooking and socializing.
We don’t want you to miss the south side of Cabana Club….the Gulf of Mexico with its stunning emerald waters and sugar-white soft sand beach. You are literally steps from the ocean from our condo door. Cabana Club beach is a hidden gem. You have to experience it in all seasons to understand why, but just one day will have you hooked. Clear as a crystal some days where you can count all your toes in waist-high water or count the fish as they swim by. Often from your balcony you will count the layers of blue that lay out in from of you. On the beach walkover is your private gate entrance, an overhead outdoor shower to rinse off the sand and a hose for your beach gear. Stop and visit the sitting area to enjoy the many views and sounds of beach life. Our beach is clean, private and is not crowded. Beach service consisting of umbrellas and chairs are available by the day or week during most of the year at a reasonable cost. Stand-up paddle boards, jet skis, and other fun stuff are available through the beach service.
On the north side of the road, Cabana Club offers an overflow parking lot for autos, large vehicles, and boats- perfect for our owners and guests who bring their own boats to enjoy the area’s world-class fishing. Please ask for separate parking passes for boats and trailers.
We can’t say enough about our winter guests, also called Snowbirds. These guests usually stay from December thru February, although some come in November and leave in March. They prefer the temperate Destin winter weather to the ice and snow in their home states! Some of our Snowbirds have wintered with us for over 15 years. These Snowbirds make friends with other Snowbirds and owners and become like family. So keep in mind, if you want to stay at Cabana Club during a very special time when condos often rent by the month…try it out. You may be spoiled and become a Snowbird yourself! You have to book earlier in the year to reserve your nest.
When you are enjoying the peace and quiet at Cabana Club, it is hard to believe that grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants and shopping are literally a few minutes away on Highway 98. Destin Commons, Henderson Beach State Park, Silver Sands Premium Outlets, Destin Harbor, Publix, Whole Foods, Fresh Market, seafood markets where boats deliver fresh from the ocean daily, and more – all the top restaurants and other great shopping within miles of Cabana Club are available for you to enjoy!
